Air travel is essential to the global economy and it enables viruses and other infectious diseases to leap borders and oceans. Our panelist will discuss what the world’s largest carriers are doing to protect their passengers, crews and balance sheets; what goes into a decision to reduce or suspend service; and how they will know when it’s time to building back toward pre-coronavirus service levels. Also, what lessons have been learned that could slow the spread of the next virus and what would they do differently when the next public health event of international concern arises.
