Webinar discussion
The COVID-19 pandemic is a major medical crisis for the global aviation industry. Even with a significant drop in passenger demand and flight restrictions in place around the world, airlines and business aviation need to keep flying to maintain essential links for medical personnel and passengers who still need to get from one place to another. Airlines are also providing critical air cargo services during this crisis, moving mail and medical supplies, even transitioning passenger aircraft into cargo-only flights. How do airline crews remain heath and safe? What is necessary to keep aircraft and airport facilities sanitized? How do airlines and business aviation operators handle cases of COVID-19 among crew inflight as well as during layovers? An expert panel will join a webinar hosted by Flight Safety Foundation President and CEO Hassan Shahidi.
